1. Initial Consultation
After our first phone call, we’ll schedule time to discuss your project in person. We want to hear about your wants, needs and ideas for a new home so we can design a home that’s perfect for your lifestyle. This consultation is a great time for you to ask questions, review some of our past projects for design ideas, and get to know our team.

Site selection is more than just picking a lot for your home. It’s about finding the ideal spot for your life. Though we offer a number of ready-to-build lots, our team is local, and we’re experienced with real estate in the greater Twin Cities metro area. We are here to provide assistance in not just finding, but purchasing and closing on the right site for your home.
Build on Your Lot
If you already own a lot, we will discuss how to position your new home to gain the full benefits of the property. Where you build today will play a significant role in how you use your home and your yard in the future. Everything from sun and shade to elevation and sight lines should factor into its position. Design & Materials Selection5. Construction
After we review and finalize the design and materials for your new home, it’s time to watch as your planning and selections manifest into the home of your dreams. Since each project is unique, we will keep you informed on the status of the foundation, framing and finishing touches as the build progresses. Plus, we’re onsite to oversee the entire process, from construction management through the final details. As part of our collaborative process, you’ll always know the progress of your new build and the projected delivery date.
Construction6. Home Orientation & Walkthrough
As construction comes to completion, we’d like to introduce you to your new home and its many custom features. Our team will schedule a walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your expectations. At this time, we’ll also review key maintenance points to ensure your satisfaction for years to come.

Closing is one of the most exciting parts of the process. Following the new-home orientation, we complete any final touch-ups and meet you on site to close on your custom build. At closing, you will sign the final documents, and our team at JPC Custom Homes will hand you the keys. Start making new memories on day one.
Closing8. Home Warranty
We stand behind our quality construction. And for extra assurance, we provide 1-, 2- and 10-year warranties on every new build. We offer our warranties through Residential Warranty Company, LLC (RWC). These warranties offer extra protection that standard state warranties do not, providing our homeowners the utmost in comfort and peace of mind.
